Israeli forces delivered a demolition order, Thursday, to the home of Ayman Rizq Zreineh, in the Bir Ouna area of the city of Beit Jala, in the southern West Bank.

Ayman’s brother Hajj Walid Zreineh told Maan News Agency, that Israeli authorities ordered the two-story home of Ayman and his 3 sons Rizq, Muhammad, and Saleh Zreineh, be destroyed.

Hajj explained that authorities ordered Ayman to demolish the home himself, and despite the Israeli forces holding him, he refused to sign the self-demolition order.

As a result, the family was forced to pay 230,000 Israeli shekels ($63,575) as bail, and, if Israel demolishes the home, Israel will force the family to pay for the demolition as well as additional fines.

The reason for the demolition order was not stated, however, Israel so rarely awards Palestinians permits to build in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem,

On the other hand, Israel continues to build and expand its illegal colonies, in direct violation of International Law, and retroactively provides construction permits to illegal colonialist outposts, which are rarely removed.

Approximately 550,000 Jewish Israeli settlers reside in the occupied Palestinian Territories.

In related news, Israel bulldozed a two story home Thursday in Burqa village, with no prior notice, under the pretext of “being built without a permit”.

Also on Thursday, a residential tent, south of Hebron, that provided shelter for the Palestinian Bedouin family of Isamel al-‘Adra, was demolished by Israeli forces, according to Rateb Jabour, the coordinator of the Popular and National Committee in the southern West Bank.
